G900 - Release date 4th/9th August?

Many rumours have begun to appear on the internet stating that the Sony Ericsson G900 will finally be released on or around 4th-9th August. Having spoken to O2 customer services on numerous occasions, we were informed by different members of staff that the G900 will finally be released on the 4^th, 9^th and 11^th.

In other news, over on the Vodafone website a member of staff hinted that there is no plan to offer the Sony Ericsson G900 on this network.
